This was Thursday morning about 7:30.
The kids did have a chance to play in it. They had snowball fights. Got drenched. Froze. And came in. All before I had a chance to get some once in a lifetime pictures but o'well they had fun. Dana also got the opportunity to miss school today on account of the snow, it was canceled. First time since 1979. I know you're thinking there isnt enough for that reason but along with all the rain that came as well it made for a pretty big mess. People around here just dont know how to drive in it. They only have about a dozen snow plows that even exist in all of Southern Nevada. The airport was closed. Roads to California, Boulder City, and to other towns outside of Las Vegas were closed. Pretty crazy stuff.

How fun! Mom said St. George got snow and the schools were closed there too. We got snow here two winters ago, over a foot! The town didn't know what to do. It was so funny.
cool, school was cancelled here too. i thought i was going to go nuts with the kids home. cant wait for the next 2 weeks, oh you said you wanted them all ..... didnt you ?!
That is so crazy!! I bet it is Kinda funny knowing what is like to live somewhere that sees snow all the time to see how everyone reacts to 2 inches huh!! See ya soon!!!
