So since we didn't get to make our bags and SINCE James has been wanting to build a shed we decided to head to Kingman for the weekend. The weather wasn't supposed to be all that great but we figured we would try it anyway. We headed over Friday night with only about enough time for the kids to get wound up and then not want to go to bed. Oh and to get our material cut for the bags.
Saturday Scott and James got right at it. The weather was descent for the time being and they wanted to get as much done as they could. Jamie and I wanted to do the same. So we went to work putting our bags together. With a quick trip in the middle to Walmart for just a few things. We worked all day on them and actually finished them by the end of the night. Unfortunately for the guys they didn't get to work all day. The weather only held out till about 1 and then it started raining to much. By night fall it was bouncing back and forth between rain and snow. So what do you do when its cold outside, you go get frozen yogurt of course. It was very yummy too. Although I think it would have been better washing it down with hot cocoa. ;)
Me and Jamie with our bags.
Scott sporting Jamie's. What a goof!!
Sunday we woke up to about 2-3 inches of snow on the ground. The guys didn't care because it wasn't falling so they went back to work. Jamie and I wanted to try out one of the other patterns we had bought so we got started on making one for Dana. It was a little more complicated then ours so it took us almost all day to get it done. It was crazy that we were able to make 2 bigger ones in a day and 1 smaller one took so much longer. Anyway we headed home around 6:30 that night but it was a good time. Thanks for having us over.
